There's been rumors of solo records from different members of the Glee cast, including Lea Michele. And, now Matthew Morrison has confirmed he'll be doing one of his own!
Describing the sound as Justin Timberlake meets Michael Buble, Morrison explains:
“Right now, I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album. It’s going to be different...It’s going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats. I want to be like the next Gene Kelly. I want to kind of do it all. I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway – but have them all be separate, their own entities."
Sounds good to us, but will Matthew be joining the Glee kids on their rumored summer 2010 tour?
“You probably know as much as I do about it. I just read about it online. I don’t think I’m going to be involved in that. Mr. Schuester likes to take his summer break.”
