Disney star Demi Lovato is urging the press to stop speculating about her relationship with Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas - because she's sick of seeing romance rumours splashed across the front pages.
The 17 year old, who starred alongside the sibling trio in music movie Camp Rock, fuelled speculation she's in a relationship with Joe after the pair was spotted enjoying a double date with the singer's brother, Kevin Jonas, and his fiancee Danielle Deleasa, last month.
Lovato has dismissed the reports and is sick of the media using her love life to fill gossip columns.
Taking to her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "There's been a lot of rumours lately that I'm dating one of my best friends, Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. He's incredible, but we don't have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn't lie about that.
"It's unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive. But that's how this whole city works I guess. It just makes me sad that people are that mean in this world."

JONAS BROTHERS: JONAS picked up for a season two
Looks like the Jonas Brothers are settling in well as sitcom stars!
The Disney Channel comedy starring Kevin, 21, and Joe, 20, and Nick, 16, titled JONAS, has been picked up for a second season, the network announced Monday. Production is slated to begin in Hollywood on the series, which is tentatively set for a mid-2010 debut.
Earlier this month, during the European leg of their Jonas Brothers World Tour, Kevin, Joe and Nick also began work on the second installment of their short-form reality show, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream. It will also premiere in early 2010, followed by Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, the sequel to the Disney Channel film the group starred in last summer.
The new season of JONAS will follow the brothers as they pursue independent careers (Joe appears in a Hollywood film, Kevin shadows a famous director, and Nick goes to work on a new album).

JONAS BROTHERS: Influenced by Michael Jackson
The JONAS BROTHERS paid tribute to King Of Pop MICHAEL JACKSON at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday (05Nov09) - revealing how the JACKSON 5 were their first major influence.
The trio introduced a tribute piece to the late Thriller hitmaker, during which Jackson superfans performed hits like ABC, Bad and Man in The Mirror in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.
And the siblings told fans that listening to the Jackson 5's I'll Be There as kids spurred them on to become the new century's leading family performers.
Nick Jonas told the MTV audience, "This year we saw the loss of the greatest pop musician the world has ever seen. We and MTV wanted to pay tribute to the true king of pop, Michael Jackson. His unrivalled talent has shaped the musical landscape, influencing artists old and young."
Brother Joe added, "The first time we heard Michael's voice was when our dad played the Jackson 5's I'll Be There. We were amazed by the one-of-a-kind talent. The way that he and his brothers came together to entertain the world has been an obvious influence on us. Michael Jackson influenced every listener and every future performer with a talent the world had never seen before. As a writer and a performer he was the best."
Jackson, who passed away in June, was honoured at the MTV event's American counterpart, the MTV Music Video Awards, in September with a performance from the star's sister Janet and a moving tribute from Madonna.

JONAS BROTHERS: Mama J talks Danielle Deleasa
Momma Jonas is doing a lot of talking these days!
First, she blabbed to the media about Nicky going solo.
Now, the mother of the Jonas Brothers, aka Denise, has taken it upon herself to gush to reporters about Kevin's fiancee, Danielle Deleasa!
"I really think she is the right girl," says Denise.
Momma Jonas has even told Kevin, "You're marrying your mother - but she is just thinner and prettier."
She says that Danielle has been accepted by the entire family, including the youngest Jonas, Frankie: "He really loves her and is proud of her.. He already acts like a little brother [to her]."
Jonas also seems to be suffering from empty-nest syndrome, realizing that her role as the mom "has really changed" since the JoBros became tween phenomenon, but no matter how old the kids get, she's "always their mom."

JONAS BROTHERS & DEMI: 'Bounce' was Nick's idea
Earlier this month, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato took some time out of their busy "Camp Rock 2" shooting schedule to film their funny music video for the parody rap song "Bounce." The video features the guys in various getups and wigs, rapping and singing with Lovato.
When MTV News caught up with her on the set of the video for her single "Remember December," she explained that the idea was all Nick's. "I think a lot of you guys out there heard about the music video out there, 'Bounce,' " she shared about her favorite "Camp Rock 2" moment. "One day Nick [Jonas] came up to me on set like, 'Yo, I got this new song. I have a beat to it and it's really sick.' "
She was initially apprehensive about the song, not realizing it was meant to be funny and that Nick didn't intend for it to be serious. "I was like, 'Oh, OK, good — 'cause I was about to say something,' " she joked.
Demi and all three Jonas Brothers then decided to shoot a video for the song. "We ended up shooting the music video one day before we all went to work," she said. "It was just so much fun. It was incredible."
However, this might not be the last you see of "Bounce" — Demi teases there may be more installments in the future. "I had so much fun doing that," she said. "Maybe you should watch out for the sequel."

JONAS BROTHERS: Blog. We are NOT breaking up

WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP
Hey everyone!
#1 – The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up!
#2 – Nick Jonas IS working on a side project called
Nick Jonas & The Administration
#3 – This project will be released early in 2010
#4 - We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER!
#5 – We plan to make music together for as long as we can.
To our dearest fans,
A news story hit the internet today concerning Nick Jonas & The Administration. We are so excited to share it with you…OUR FANS.
From Nick:
About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancĂ© Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its “heart & soul”, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.
We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.
My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.
I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!
From Joe and Kevin:
We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. They are amazing works of art from an amazing talent…our brother. We will see you later this year, next year, and hopefully for the rest of our lives.
“A three chord strand is not easily broken”, and one thing’s for sure… this three chord strand is stronger now than it’s ever been.
You are truly the best fans in the world, and we love you with all our hearts.

JONAS BROTHERS: Nick encourages kids with diabetes
NEWBURY, England, October 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has expanded his role as a diabetes ambassador to the UK with the announcement of a new partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care to provide young people and their families with the motivation and support they need to help simplify life with diabetes. Bayer Diabetes Care UK and Nick announced their partnership with Bayer making a donation to the Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation to support Nick's goal of helping children with diabetes.
Nick, now 17, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13. He is passionate about sharing his personal story because he knows so many young people like him can feel alone and even embarrassed by the condition. Nick feels that it is important to take what he's learned and what works for him and pass it along to others who may be feeling the same way.
"So many fans with diabetes from all over share their stories and thank me for being an inspiration to them. Nearly every day I hear from someone like me who says that I make them feel it's OK to have diabetes and it's really cool that I can do that," said Nick. "I know I'm lucky because I have a family that encourages me a lot. I want to give that same inspiration to other kids with diabetes, and working with Bayer lets me do that." Nick's passion for helping other young people with diabetes by sharing his experience is just one of the ways' he "gives back" to fans. He and his brothers, Kevin and Joe, started the Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation through which they donate funds to several causes including pediatric diabetes research, education and treatment.
Bayer and Nick share a common goal of helping people with diabetes simplify their lives by achieving "Simple Wins": small, everyday victories for managing the condition that can lead to big differences over time. For Nick, a Simple Win is about making other kids with diabetes feel like they can live their dreams and have a positive outlook.
To celebrate the partnership Bayer Diabetes Care and Nick invite kids and teens with diabetes to enter the Bayer "Express Your Simple Win Creativity Contest" online for a chance to win exclusive tickets to see the Jonas Brothers live during their UK tour in November and meet Nick and the band backstage.
Another Simple Win for Nick is writing lyrics, performing and making music. One example of how he was able to creatively express this was through his song about living with diabetes, "A Little Bit Longer." Now he wants to encourage other young people with diabetes to share their creativity and their own personal Simple Wins through the Bayer "Express Your Simple Win Creativity Contest."
"With this contest, I hope people are inspired by others' entries, as well as encouraged to submit and share their own, but most of all, I hope that everyone has fun with it," said Nick. "Diabetes can be hard to live with, but when you manage it well, you can still do the things you love most in the world."
To enter the Bayer "Express Your Simple Win Creativity Contest," young people with diabetes between the ages of 6 and 18 are asked to submit a creative expression of their Simple Win. The submission can be original song lyrics, photography, painting/drawing, poster, collage or another form of creativity. Once the Simple Win entry is complete, applicants can go to http://www.NicksSimpleWins.co.uk to complete the registration form and find out postal information to enter. The competition will run throughout the month of October exclusively.
The contest will close on November 02, 2009 when the top 20 favourite Simple Wins will be picked by a team of judges. Those lucky entrants will win tickets to attend a Jonas Brothers concert and will get to meet Nick and the band backstage; runners up will win exclusive signed Nick Jonas souvenirs.
Through the partnership, young people with diabetes and their families can also log onto http://www.NicksSimpleWins.co.uk where they can check out more about Nick's personal experiences, read Nick's blog posts and share in Nick's ideas on how to achieve Simple Wins. Also available to download is "A Little Bit Longer"; Nick wrote this song when he was having a particularly hard day managing his diabetes and feels supported when his fans sing along to the lyrics.
Diabetes mellitus is a multifactorial disease where the body doesn't produce enough insulin or where the body cannot properly use the exiting insulin. Insulin is a hormone responsible for the regulation of the glucose levels in the blood circulation. In the UK an estimated 25,000 children under the age of 18 have diabetes[1]. Type 1 diabetes, one of the two major types of diabetes, is usually diagnosed in children and young adults. With type 1 diabetes, your body produces little or no insulin, which may result in many complications if glucose levels are not controlled.
Nick uses the new Bayer CONTOUR® meter, to test how much glucose or sugar is in his blood so he can determine how much insulin he needs as well as to see how his treatment regimen is working. It's the first thing he learned about managing his condition.
"I check my blood sugar level up to 12 times a day so it's very important that my meter fits with my lifestyle," said Nick. "My new Bayer CONTOUR® meter lets me personalize the settings when I need to test myself before a meal or reminds me to check after a meal depending on my schedule on a specific day."
Express Your Simple Wins Contest Terms and Conditions
The contest is open to eligible UK residents between the ages of 6 and 18 who have been diagnosed with diabetes. Restrictions and limitations apply. See official contest rules for more information. Prize winners will be notified on or about the 09 November, 09.

However, the pair is rumoured have more than a work relationship.
Joe, 20, publicly displayed his affection for 17-year-old Lovato earlier this month (05Oct09) on a double date at a Toronto, Canada restaurant with older brother Kevin and his fiancee Danielle Deleasa.

TAYLOR SWIFT: Unlucky in love
Taylor Swift has no dating rules.
The 'Love Story' singer - who previously romanced Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas - is still trying to figure out how relationships work and treats each man differently.
She said: "I think the reason I write about love so much is because I have no idea what is going on with love. It's unpredictable and I haven't figured it out yet.
"Every love story is different and I like to approach every person I meet like they're a separate book, rather than a chapter in a whole book. I don't have one general theory for how to date a person."
The 19-year-old blonde also admits she's not very good at forming relationships because she gets shy when she meets a guy she likes.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "I would probably run in the opposite direction if I saw someone I had a crush on... and then write a song about it! Shows why I haven't had successful relationships."

JONAS BROTHERS: Kickballers
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Five lucky Jonas Brothers fans and their friends and family members had a lot more to cheer about this weekend. That's because they submitted the winning videos in a Green Screen Community video contest during the Jonas Brothers' recent world tour. The winners were hosted this past weekend by Verizon Wireless and LG Mobile Phones, compliments of Connecticut's Mohegan Sun, for a fun-filled weekend, which included a Saturday night concert at Mohegan Sun Arena. The following day the lucky winners played kickball with Kevin, Nick and Joe at the Kick for Change event held at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn., home of the Connecticut Defenders baseball team.
The Kick for Change event provided tickets to the game to members of the community who have made it a priority to give back. The event highlighted the Jonas Brothers' Change for the Children Foundation and its mission to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. The Jonas Brothers' team, the Kickballers, featured the Jonas Brothers, as well as heroes from the Connecticut chapters of the Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the United Way. Other local organizations that took part in the Kick for Change included the Boys and Girls Club, the Norwich School District, the Norwich Police Department and several local domestic violence organizations, among others. All equipment and officials for the game were provided by the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA).
Fans in attendance at Kick for Change had the opportunity to donate their old phones to the Verizon Wireless HopeLine® program during the event. Proceeds from HopeLine are used to provide wireless phones to victims of domestic violence and cash grants to non-profit advocacy organizations that promote domestic violence prevention and awareness.

JONAS BROTHERS: Uncasville, CT. Mohegan Sun. 7:30PM Show
The Wonder Girls sang two songs. I don't know what the first one was called, but the second was obviously "Nobody" & they taught everyone the dance before they sang. I remembered the dance from World Tour. It was funny watching my mom learn & dance to it though. She kept calling them the Asian "Pussycat Dolls."
They kept showing 4 girls dressed at Teletubbies on the big screen. Before they started singing Year 3000, they brought the 4 Teletubbies on stage plus one of their friends & let them sit on stage. It was adorable. Two of them were crying.
Joe was wearing his white skinny jeans with a black shirt through most of the show. But, he eventually took it off & was wearing a beautiful blue tank top. He looked gorgeous.
As for the mini-joner comment. Joe's pants were super tight. During Tonight, he leaned back & I spied the mini-joner. Maybe it was full-fledged but I was up pretty high so I couldn't tell.
When they were singing Gotta Find You, they paused and showed the whole crowd on the screen. I wasn't really paying attention since I was actually tweeting but my mom said it went a little something like this:
Nick: Pick any cute girl out of the audience & sing it to her.
Joe [to Nick]: I think you're pretty cute.
Nick: *just kinda shrugs & grins*
How cute!
Joe was talking about Camp Rock 2. I'd love to tell you what he said. I couldn't hear.
Kevin talked about finding the one you love, the one person that's right for you. He said that he found her and it feels pretty awesome.
Nick didn't tell his diabetes story. He said it was a night to party. And he didn't really sing too much of A Little Bit Longer.
They didn't sing a few songs from World Tour. They didn't play Live to Party or Much Better. Those are the only three I can think of, but it could be more.
There's always a lot of energy at their concerts, but there was something about tonight that was even more energetic. They just seemed so thrilled to be on stage. Nick smiled SO much. It was so adorable!
**If I think of anymore, I will put updates!!!**

JONAS BROTHERS: Wonder Girls opening for the CT shows
I was looking up Jonas Brothers news to post tonight and came across Connecticut's newspaper website. The Jonas Brothers never formally announced who would be opening for them but here is what was posted:
Jonas Brothers with the Wonder Girls, Arena, Mohegan Sun casino, Route 2A (Exit 79A off I-395), Uncasville; Ticketmaster.com (203) 624-0033.
I guess the Wonder Girls are opening. I wonder if there will be another suprise guest. I certainly hope so.

KEVIN JONAS: Wedding planning fun
Kevin talks about the wedding and the wedding process:
"We're in between a bunch of things right now like choosing dates and things like that but we're just trying to figure everything out and we're enjoying it, we're having a blast," Kevin, 21, says. "I'm definitely into the planning process … I definitely want to be a part of all of it, as much as I can, of course. It's fun and brings us together and we get to make a lot of decisions together."

JONAS BROTHERS: No winter tour
10/06/09 Message from JB
Hey guys,
It has come to our attention that dates for a possible December concert tour somehow found their way onto the internet. Due to scheduling issues we're sorry to inform you that this won't be possible. We look forward to a wonderful touring season in 2010.
At this point we have no specific events planned and no plans for any... If that changes we will of course include the fan club. So we'll keep you posted there.
Thanks and love,
JB

JONAS BROTHERS: Nick's Simple Wins blog
Hello from the set of Camp Rock 2- This summer consisted of some memorable moments… Teen Choice Awards, performing on Good Morning America & The Today Show, Speaking in front of a Senate committee and the National Press Club, and traveling across North America on tour… to name a few!
We also had a softball team this summer as well called The Road Dogs. It was so much fun playing with our band. Filming is going well; we should finish shooting at the end of the month. It is great to see everyone again and catch up on what they have been doing since we were last together.
My blog picture this month is from my birthday celebration. My family surprised me with a very special gift this year. I was given the piano that I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on while filming the first Camp Rock Movie. The song will always have a special place in my heart and now to be gifted the piano – I was not expecting such a gift and was so thankful to my family.
I can’t believe all the outstanding entries that were turned in for the creativity contest. Well done everyone! It wouldn’t have been such a huge success without all your entries and votes in helping to pick each monthly winner. I can’t wait to work with Bayer to pick the winners! We’ll be announcing the grand prize winners very soon so stay tuned. -Nick.
