NEW YORK (Billboard) - A year ago, Justin Bieber was a kid from Toronto who had a gift for singing sweet-natured covers of Usher hits, a penchant for playing the drums and a resourceful mother who posted clips of him on YouTube .
Today, Bieber could be the biggest tween heartthrob in music. After signing with Island Records , with the support of his mentor, Usher , the 15-year-old released his debut single, "One Time," in the summer and almost instantly turned his online audience into an army of dedicated fans. "Bieber mania," as his management now calls it, has spread so quickly that NBC says more than 2,000 people attended his October 12 "Today" performance at New York's Rockefeller Plaza -- the largest crowd for any artist this year, including Miley Cyrus .
Bieber's second single, "One Less Lonely Girl," recently joined "One Time" on the Billboard Hot 100 , and a third, "Love Me," which lifts its hook from the '90s Cardigans' hit "Lovefool," also looks poised to enter the fray. With his debut album , "My World," due November 17, Bieber reflects on his whirlwind of a year, the experience of recording and co-writing his album and how he stays connected with fans.
Billboard : When did you first think you might have a talent for music?
Justin Bieber: I've always loved music, especially percussion ... I'm a big fan of (Blink-182 drummer) Travis Barker. My mom bought me my first drum kit when I was 4 because I was banging on everything around the house, even couches. I picked up the guitar when I was 6 and taught myself to play, but I didn't really start singing until I was 10.
Billboard: How did you start taking it seriously?
Bieber: I entered a singing competition, and some of my relatives who couldn't make it wanted to see how I did. I posted the videos on YouTube , and then other people started viewing and subscribing. I didn't tell my friends because they didn't really know that I could sing. They knew me for playing sports. I just wanted to be a regular kid, and I knew they wouldn't treat me the same way if I told them.
Billboard: Your first three singles are all about young love. What are the rest of the songs on "My World" like?
Bieber: Most are about love and stuff that girls can appreciate, but I also co-wrote a song called "Down to Earth." It's a ballad about the feelings I had when my parents split up and how I helped my family get through it. I think a lot of kids have had their parents split up, and they should know that it wasn't because of something they did. I hope people can relate to it.
Billboard: Do you still keep up with your fans on YouTube?
Bieber: Oh, definitely. I think the Internet is the best way to reach your fans. A couple of years back, artists didn't have that tool, so why not use it now? I'm also on Facebook , and my fans got together and sent me a "Get Well" card on Twitter when I was sick the other day. That was really cool. For now, I'm too worried about getting too close to the fans. I don't share much personal information.
Billboard: What has been the biggest change for you in the past year?
Bieber: I've gained a lot more fans, and I'm able to travel a lot more. I went to the U.K. for the first time in the summer, and hundreds of girls came out to see me. I wasn't totally surprised because a lot of the people who comment on my YouTube videos are from overseas, but I still had no idea that many people would come.
Billboard: In September, you presented at the MTV Video Music Awards and defended Taylor Swift after Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech. What was that like?
Bieber: When I first found out I was going to the VMAs , I was like, "Wow, this is such a big deal -- let's go shopping!" After I presented, Taylor Swift thanked me for saying that she deserved to win her award. She said, "Thanks for sticking up for me, lil' bro," and I was like, "Yeah, I've got your back." I wasn't nervous at all, though ... I never get nervous. I don't think any performer really does.

In a skit titled Monologue Song (La La La), she sang, "You might think I bring up Joe, the guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I'm not gonna mention that in my monologue..."
Swift then sent a personal message to the LoveBug singer, quipping, "Hey Joe, I'm doing real well!"
The 19-year-old star went on to address rumours linking her to Twilight hunk Lautner, fuelling romance reports by winking and blowing a kiss into the camera for him.

Robert Pattinson isn't Kristen Stewart's only kindred spirit from The Twilight Saga's sprawling ensemble of young actors.
Dakota Fanning, another former child star, bonded with Stewart when they made two films back to back: The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Runaways (about the 70s girl-band fronted by Joan Jett).
"We became really close," Fanning tells Teen Vogue in its December issue. "It's like we'd known each other our whole lives. We talk all the time."
Playing evil vampire Jane in New Moon, Fanning, 15, found it difficult victimizing her new friend. "Being mean to her was really weird. It's like, Sorry dude!"

You can stop holding your breath twi-hards, Robert Pattinson has revealed that filming for the fourth Twilight film will start in the 2010 northern hemisphere autumn.
Digital Spy reports that Pattinson made the announcement at a press junket for New Moon (which releases worldwide next week!).
RPatz did however say that "they may well change that."
If the man that plays brooding vamp Edward Cullen is right that will mean a long drink between films for Twilight fans. The third book and film in the series, Eclipse is set to release in the 2010 northern hemisphere summer.
Before setting foot on the set of Breaking Dawn, however, Pattinson is set to film Unbound Captives, alongside Oscar winning actress Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman.

ROBERT PATTINSON: Wants to be romantic ..but can't
Robert Pattinson isn't brave enough to be romantic.
The 'Twilight' actor - who is rumoured to have an on/off relationship with his co-star Kristin Stewart - says he struggles to impress women he has a crush on because he is too nervous about making a loving gesture.
The 23-year-old heartthrob said: "I can't think of a single romantic thing that I've ever done.
"I would never serenade someone to be romantic - you have to have so much balls to do that.
"I put a flower in someone's locker when I was 15 years old, this girl called Maria. She thought that it was someone else and the other guy claimed it as well, which is great."
Despite his hopeless ways, the actor says he still has an appreciation for romance, insisting it isn't only girls who like it.
He said: "It's like saying guys can't appreciate romance. I've watched Titanic and I didn't think, 'Oh, this is a girl's film'."
The actor also admitted he has an obsessive streak - and refuses to take advice from anyone.
He told America's People magazine: "I have very, very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness sometimes.
"I don't listen to anyone else. That's why I don't have a publicist - I can't stand it if someone's trying to tell me to do something which might be a mistake."

The highly controversial "Gossip Girl" threesome is about to go down on Monday night's (November 9) episode of the saucy teen soap. And, with so many of the cast being possible suspects in the naughty storyline, it's only a matter of time before we know who hooks up. "An idol for me is someone that you want to replicate. You want to be them.

The Disney Channel comedy starring Kevin, 21, and Joe, 20, and Nick, 16, titled JONAS, has been picked up for a second season, the network announced Monday. Production is slated to begin in Hollywood on the series, which is tentatively set for a mid-2010 debut.
Earlier this month, during the European leg of their Jonas Brothers World Tour, Kevin, Joe and Nick also began work on the second installment of their short-form reality show, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream. It will also premiere in early 2010, followed by Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, the sequel to the Disney Channel film the group starred in last summer.
The new season of JONAS will follow the brothers as they pursue independent careers (Joe appears in a Hollywood film, Kevin shadows a famous director, and Nick goes to work on a new album).

It is our strong suggestion that the producers of the show Glee be hobbled if they don't comply!
If you are a fan of Glee and you have been waiting for Jane Lynch's big number, you're going to have to wait awhile, since there are no plans as of yet to get the coach of the Cheerios to belt out a tune.
But it's not because Jane doesn't want to! Quite the contrary, she is “campaigning strongly” for her singing debut and she won't rest until she gets it.

MILEY CYRUS: Doesn't even like pop music
Miley Cyrus openly admitted that she's actually never heard a Jay-Z song, referencing her current Top 40 hit, Party in the USA, adding that she doesn't listen to "pop music."
We wouldn't quite classify Jay as pop, but she's just bein' Miley!
She continues to basically bash the song, further stating that it's "not even my style of music":
"I don't know, I didn't write the song, so I have no idea. Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn't write it and ... I didn't expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do, and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best."
Then she throws God into the mix to make herself seem grateful:
"I'm really blessed for it to have done as well as it has. Totally blessed. God has definitely put me in an amazing position with amazing people."
You got really lucky, Miley. Let's just call it like it is!

The 19-year-old actress refused to be drawn on rumours that have repeatedly said she is dating her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, 23, and says she is going to come up with different ways of avoiding the question.
"I've thought about this a lot. There's no answer that's not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: OK, we are. We aren't. I'm a lesbian. I'm just trying to keep something," she told Entertainment Weekly when quizzed on the rumours.
"If people started asking me if I was dating my other co-star Taylor Lautner, I'd be like, 'f**k off!' I would answer the exact same way."
The actress also insisted she would have answered the question honestly if it hadn't been turned into such a "big deal".
"I probably would've answered it if people hadn't made such a big deal about it. But I'm not going to give the finding an answer," she added.
"I know that people are really funny about 'Well, you chose to be an actor, why don't you just give your whole life away?!"

The trio introduced a tribute piece to the late Thriller hitmaker, during which Jackson superfans performed hits like ABC, Bad and Man in The Mirror in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.
And the siblings told fans that listening to the Jackson 5's I'll Be There as kids spurred them on to become the new century's leading family performers.
Nick Jonas told the MTV audience, "This year we saw the loss of the greatest pop musician the world has ever seen. We and MTV wanted to pay tribute to the true king of pop, Michael Jackson. His unrivalled talent has shaped the musical landscape, influencing artists old and young."

"I really think she is the right girl," says Denise.
Momma Jonas has even told Kevin, "You're marrying your mother - but she is just thinner and prettier."
She says that Danielle has been accepted by the entire family, including the youngest Jonas, Frankie: "He really loves her and is proud of her.. He already acts like a little brother [to her]."
Jonas also seems to be suffering from empty-nest syndrome, realizing that her role as the mom "has really changed" since the JoBros became tween phenomenon, but no matter how old the kids get, she's "always their mom."

GOSSIP GIRL: A Christmas Carol
It wouldn't be the first, nor the last show to spoof the holiday classic for some ratings.
There are rumors floating abound that Gossip Girl will be visited by three spirits this season - a la A Christmas Carol. We don't know too many details, other than the rumor that Chuck's dearly departed father returning may play into the storyline by haunting Ed Westwick's character.
Chuck does kind of fit the criteria of a modern Ebenezer Scrooge.
And they sure could use a good gimmick to get some ratings!

Summit Entertainment said Thursday it plans to rerelease the vampire-romance actioner in more than 2,000 theaters for one day only on Nov. 19 -- the day before the mini-major opens sequel "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in even wider release.
"Despite the first film already being on DVD, fans across the nation have been calling out to see the film once again on the big screen, and the studio is honoring their request," Summit said.
"Twilight" has rung up $191.5 million to date domestically and $383.7 million on a worldwide basis. Unspooling last Nov. 21, the franchise originator sunk its teeth into bigger than expected opening weekend boxoffice, totaling $69.6 million in U.S. and Canadian coin.
Summit said "Twilight" tickets would be sold at a discount at select sites.

She told Total Film magazine: "The cool thing is that it's not just physical. You can read it all over him, just in his entire attitude. The difference between the kid that did 'Twilight' and this guy now is pretty astounding."
The couple first worked together when they filmed last year's hit romantic fantasy film and have spent the past few months shooting love scenes for the sequel - which focuses around the relationship between his werewolf character Jacob and her alter-ego high school student Bella.
Taylor, 17, admits it was a struggle for him to get in shape for the highly-anticipated follow-up.

She was initially apprehensive about the song, not realizing it was meant to be funny and that Nick didn't intend for it to be serious. "I was like, 'Oh, OK, good — 'cause I was about to say something,' " she joked.

GOSSIP & GAGA: Lady G to make cameo appearance on Gossip Girl
"Gossip Girl" is going gaga for another queen bee.
Lady Gaga will bring all her kitsch and charm to the set of the CW show when she makes a cameo to serenade none-other than Manhattan socialite Blair Waldorf and her guests at a private party, according to People.com.
Gaga reportedly filmed a performance of her new single "Bad Romance" for the show.
The quirky songstress confessed that at least one member of her family is a huge fan of the wildly popular series.
"My little sister is the hugest 'Gossip Girl' fan ever," Gaga told People.com.
Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester, is a student at NYU, the same school Lady Gaga eventually dropped out of.
"I loved NYU, but I thought I could teach myself art better than the school could. I really felt New York was my teacher, and that I needed to bite the bullet and go it alone," she told Elle magazine.

Lady Gaga will bring all her kitsch and charm to the set of the CW show when she makes a cameo to serenade none-other than Manhattan socialite Blair Waldorf and her guests at a private party, according to People.com.
Gaga reportedly filmed a performance of her new single "Bad Romance" for the show.
The quirky songstress confessed that at least one member of her family is a huge fan of the wildly popular series.
"My little sister is the hugest 'Gossip Girl' fan ever," Gaga told People.com.
Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester, is a student at NYU, the same school Lady Gaga eventually dropped out of.
"I loved NYU, but I thought I could teach myself art better than the school could. I really felt New York was my teacher, and that I needed to bite the bullet and go it alone," she told Elle magazine.

Three of the hottest young stars in music joined forces for a good cause in California this weekend.
Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Jesse McCartney performed for Disney’s 2nd annual Concert For Hope last night (October 25) at the Nokia Theatre to benefit the City of Hope cancer research, treatment and educational programs.
The performers made sure to put on an entertaining show, but there was also a few touching moments, like quite possibly the biggest of the night when Miley sang her hit “The Climb” to a little girl stricken with cancer.

About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its “heart & soul”, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.
We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.
My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.
I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!

Tweens maybe dismayed to hear that Taylor Lautner doesn't actually like walking around without his shirt on, at least when it comes to his film roles. He recently explained that he is hoping to be known in the industry as more than just a "body."
We'd be more concerned for only being known as that kid from Twilight!
Regardless, Taylor is looking to take roles that will feature his talent, rather than his abs. But he's not stupid either: "If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie, but I guess that's not very realistic. I certainly won't be asking to do it, though."

Summit Entertainment has announced a New Moon 15-city tour, traveling to malls across the U.S.!!
The tour will feature Q&A's with cast-members of New Moon along with performances by bands from the soundtrack!

JONAS BROTHERS & DEMI: "Bounce"
Jonas Brothers post a video called "Bounce" on their YouTubechannel. Nick Jonas is seen having a mustache, while Joe Jonas is captured with long curly wig. They team up with Demi Lovato, singing ala Black Eyed Peas. As for Kevin Jonas, he is absent from the performance scene but is featured as the one who finds out about their funny performance on Internet.
Jonas Brothers are currently on their first world tour. They have started the gig last May to support the band's latest studio installment "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" and will stay on the road for a series of live concerts until November 24. Jordin Sparks once did something very naughty — she stole Simon Cowell’s car for a free ride home!
The singing sensation — who won the sixth season of American Idol — says the last time she was in London she hitched a ride in the music mogul’s luxury motor so she didn’t have to pay for a taxi.
Speaking to Fearne Cotton on the UK’s BBC Radio One, Sparks, 19, was asked if she had seen Cowell since she arrived in the UK.
“No not since I’ve been here,” she said. “I actually don’t have his number so I don’t really call him up when I come over here and if we run into each other, that’s OK.
“Actually, the last time I was here I did ride in his car though, he wasn’t in it but it was awesome.
“I don’t remember how that really worked out, but we were leaving dinner and there was a car sitting out there and it was Simon’s driver. I was like: ‘This is awesome!’
“So he was talking to me about Simon and everything and I was like: ‘Does he sit back here?’ And he was like: ‘Yes, I’m a little uncomfortable’.”

JONAS BROTHERS: Nick encourages kids with diabetes
NEWBURY, England, October 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has expanded his role as a diabetes ambassador to the UK with the announcement of a new partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care to provide young people and their families with the motivation and support they need to help simplify life with diabetes. Bayer Diabetes Care UK and Nick announced their partnership with Bayer making a donation to the Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation to support Nick's goal of helping children with diabetes.
Nick, now 17, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13. He is passionate about sharing his personal story because he knows so many young people like him can feel alone and even embarrassed by the condition. Nick feels that it is important to take what he's learned and what works for him and pass it along to others who may be feeling the same way.
"So many fans with diabetes from all over share their stories and thank me for being an inspiration to them. Nearly every day I hear from someone like me who says that I make them feel it's OK to have diabetes and it's really cool that I can do that," said Nick. "I know I'm lucky because I have a family that encourages me a lot. I want to give that same inspiration to other kids with diabetes, and working with Bayer lets me do that." Nick's passion for helping other young people with diabetes by sharing his experience is just one of the ways' he "gives back" to fans. Nick, now 17, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13. He is passionate about sharing his personal story because he knows so many young people like him can feel alone and even embarrassed by the condition. Nick feels that it is important to take what he's learned and what works for him and pass it along to others who may be feeling the same way.
"So many fans with diabetes from all over share their stories and thank me for being an inspiration to them. Nearly every day I hear from someone like me who says that I make them feel it's OK to have diabetes and it's really cool that I can do that," said Nick. It's not a complicated question. But a girl primping for the Miley Cyrus concert Tuesday night knows that color is everything.
Tweens and teens had waited months for concert day. Many of them planned their outfits days — scratch that — weeks ago to replicate their favorite Disney star.
So when it came time for Delaney Snyder, 7, to choose her nail polish, she froze. A stylist at the Sweet & Sassy salon in Papillion's Shadow Lake Towne Center suggested princess pink. So Delaney went with it.

More young girls are booking salon appointments — for hair up-dos, manicures and pedicures — before music shows to make the night more memorable. Parents say they don't mind dishing out for the extra curls because it's a part of the concert experience.
That experience can include a ride to the concert in a pink limo. If you book a service through the salon — and you do it before everyone else — you can engage the limo for the cost of mileage. One family booked a pedicure just to travel in the Pepto-colored car.
Mom took photos as Delaney held her hands out for the paint job.
“She's having so much fun,” said Jeni Snyder, who was enjoying the mother-daughter bonding. They drove two hours from Columbus, Neb., to make their hair and nail appointment before the concert. Three of Delaney's friends had appointments, too.
“A lot of girls do this,” said Marie Yakes, the owner of the spa-salon party store. “We had a ton of them who set up appointments before the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato concerts.”
Nearly 50 pre-concert makeover appointments were marked on Sweet & Sassy's schedule book. The salon was booked solid from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A grandma, mom and her twin girls came from Gothenburg, Neb., for their Miley makeovers.
During the makeovers, Delaney and her friends wore fuzzy boas and pink robes with leopard-print trim. They snacked on candy and posed for pictures on a mini-platform stage. They also sang Miley Cyrus songs on the salon's karaoke machine. They practiced “G-N-O (Girls Night Out)” and “Party in the U.S.A.” Some watched Miley movies on flat-screen TVs.
The girls gossiped about their hair and how cool it was not to be in school. When asked what their teachers thought of them ditching, Delaney laughed.
“It's OK,” she said. “They knew. They wished they could have gone.”
She kept flipping her fingers through her curls until the stylist pinned her hair up into a tight bun.
“If I had the chance to meet Miley, I'd probably fall forward,” Delaney said.
“And I'd fall backwards,” said her school friend sitting next to her.
Delaney tried to copy a Miley outfit from a poster she has hanging in her bedroom. She did a pretty good job. The wide-eyed brunette wore shiny black stretch pants, a British flag-printed T-shirt and yellow ballerina flats.
“I would have never put yellow shoes with an outfit like that,” Mom said. “But I guess if Miley can pull it off, Delaney will.”
Just a few feet away sat Reese Janssen, another buddy from Columbus. She was the only girl who had Dad there, too —by accident. He was in Omaha getting a cast put on a broken ankle.
“She won't miss a (Miley) TV show,” Jeremy Janssen chimed in. He knew the concert was a big deal for 6-year-old Reese, so he made time to stop by the salon.
Just how big a deal was it?
“She's been listening to Miley music every night before she goes to bed,” said mom Jill Janssen.

Out for another day’s work, Chace Crawford and Blake Lively were paired up for an afternoon of filming on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Wednesday (October 14).

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Five lucky Jonas Brothers fans and their friends and family members had a lot more to cheer about this weekend. That's because they submitted the winning videos in a Green Screen Community video contest during the Jonas Brothers' recent world tour. The winners were hosted this past weekend by Verizon Wireless and LG Mobile Phones, compliments of Connecticut's Mohegan Sun, for a fun-filled weekend, which included a Saturday night concert at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Kick for Change event provided tickets to the game to members of the community who have made it a priority to give back. The event highlighted the Jonas Brothers' Change for the Children Foundation and its mission to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed. The Jonas Brothers' team, the Kickballers, featured the Jonas Brothers, as well as heroes from the Connecticut chapters of the Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the United Way. Other local organizations that took part in the Kick for Change included the Boys and Girls Club, the Norwich School District, the Norwich Police Department and several local domestic violence organizations, among others. All equipment and officials for the game were provided by the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA).
Fans in attendance at Kick for Change had the opportunity to donate their old phones to the Verizon Wireless HopeLine® program during the event. Proceeds from HopeLine are used to provide wireless phones to victims of domestic violence and cash grants to non-profit advocacy organizations that promote domestic violence prevention and awareness.

JONAS BROTHERS: Uncasville, CT. Mohegan Sun. 7:30PM Show
The Wonder Girls sang two songs. I don't know what the first one was called, but the second was obviously "Nobody" & they taught everyone the dance before they sang. I remembered the dance from World Tour. It was funny watching my mom learn & dance to it though. She kept calling them the Asian "Pussycat Dolls."
They kept showing 4 girls dressed at Teletubbies on the big screen. Before they started singing Year 3000, they brought the 4 Teletubbies on stage plus one of their friends & let them sit on stage. It was adorable. Two of them were crying.
Joe was wearing his white skinny jeans with a black shirt through most of the show. But, he eventually took it off & was wearing a beautiful blue tank top. He looked gorgeous.
As for the mini-joner comment. Joe's pants were super tight. During Tonight, he leaned back & I spied the mini-joner. Maybe it was full-fledged but I was up pretty high so I couldn't tell.
When they were singing Gotta Find You, they paused and showed the whole crowd on the screen. I wasn't really paying attention since I was actually tweeting but my mom said it went a little something like this:
Nick: Pick any cute girl out of the audience & sing it to her.
Joe [to Nick]: I think you're pretty cute.
Nick: *just kinda shrugs & grins*

Joe was talking about Camp Rock 2. I'd love to tell you what he said. I couldn't hear.
Kevin talked about finding the one you love, the one person that's right for you. He said that he found her and it feels pretty awesome.
Nick didn't tell his diabetes story. He said it was a night to party. And he didn't really sing too much of A Little Bit Longer.
They didn't sing a few songs from World Tour. They didn't play Live to Party or Much Better. Those are the only three I can think of, but it could be more.
There's always a lot of energy at their concerts, but there was something about tonight that was even more energetic. They just seemed so thrilled to be on stage. Nick smiled SO much. It was so adorable!

MILEY CYRUS: Denies family rift rumours
MILEY CYRUS has dismissed reports her relationship with movie co-star LIAM HEMSWORTH is driving a wedge between the singer and her father BILLY RAY.
The Hannah Montana star was rumoured to be dating Hemsworth after meeting him on the set of her upcoming movie The Last Song.
Their budding romance was alleged to be heating up so quickly, the teenager's dad Billy Ray Cyrus was growing concerned the superstar's new love was moving too fast.
A source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper the relationship was "causing a lot of conflict in the family".
But a representative for Miley and her dad have shot down the claims, telling GossipCop.com, "There's no truth to this."
Cyrus has previously brushed off reports she and Hemsworth are a couple, insisting she doesn't "have time for a huge relationship".

It has come to our attention that dates for a possible December concert tour somehow found their way onto the internet. Due to scheduling issues we're sorry to inform you that this won't be possible. We look forward to a wonderful touring season in 2010.
At this point we have no specific events planned and no plans for any... If that changes we will of course include the fan club. So we'll keep you posted there.

Taylor Lautner may have been in one of the biggest movies of last year and possibly this year -- Twilight and New Moon if you've been living under a rock -- and be one of the most buff, werewolf-playing teen bachelors, but he's still shy about baring so much skin. JONAS BROTHERS: Nick's Simple Wins blog
Hello from the set of Camp Rock 2- This summer consisted of some memorable moments… Teen Choice Awards, performing on Good Morning America & The Today Show, Speaking in front of a Senate committee and the National Press Club, and traveling across North America on tour… to name a few!
We also had a softball team this summer as well called The Road Dogs. It was so much fun playing with our band. Filming is going well; we should finish shooting at the end of the month. It is great to see everyone again and catch up on what they have been doing since we were last together.
My blog picture this month is from my birthday celebration. My family surprised me with a very special gift this year. I was given the piano that I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on while filming the first Camp Rock Movie. The song will always have a special place in my heart and now to be gifted the piano – I was not expecting such a gift and was so thankful to my family.
I can’t believe all the outstanding entries that were turned in for the creativity contest. Well done everyone! It wouldn’t have been such a huge success without all your entries and votes in helping to pick each monthly winner. I can’t wait to work with Bayer to pick the winners! We’ll be announcing the grand prize winners very soon so stay tuned. -Nick.

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to check in with all of our fans and get you all in the loop. Even without being on the road it's been quite an eventful couple of weeks. Starting with Nick's birthday where we got to spend some time with our family and some great friends! In fact quite a few of our friends made the journey up here to Toronto to hang with us and make it such an incredible night, and we truly thank them for that.
We've also had a bunch of other things in the pipeline now, as you've seen we have a really cool YouTube challenge going on.. And the Verizon kickball game is just around the corner (we love our games!) And a show! Yes it always comes back to the shows! That's what we're all about. Getting to do what we love and what you've all made it possible for us to do year round.. Getting in front of our fans and playing our music. FAME: A flop?
So, it's pretty easy to say that the new movie Fame got less than mediocre reviews. I did not go see it this weekend, so I went and read the reviews. It was not pretty.
Variety called it "bland" and the "director Kevin Tancharoen and writer Allison Burnette hew closer to an 'after school special.'" They also called Fame "MGM[s]... missed opportunity." They did however compliment--I think-- the stars by saying "several of these talented young performers might... [become] famous. It just likely won't be for this."
Los Angeles Times wrote "call the coroner... a crime scene that should be yellow-tapped and relentlessly investigated" saying the "central characters prove to be forgettable."
And USA Today called Fame "bland and predicable" "not unlike... the High School Musical movies." The "human stories [are] lacking" and you get a "superficial sense of these students."
Wow, harsh. I'll still go see it. I've been waiting for it to come out for months.

Teen Vogue hosted a party last night and many young stars showed up to party. Guests included Selena Gomez and Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner. Both Taylor and Selena showed up and walked the red carpet alone though people are still skeptical as to whether or not they are together. When asked about Lautner's photos in Teen Vogue, Gomez admitted that she thought his pictures "rocked."

JOE JONAS: New house? No Valentines Day
Joe Jonas took a break from filming "Camp Rock 2" this weekend to go house hunting in Beverly Hills. He was without his brothers. And in other Joe Jonas news. Rumor control, he will not be starring in the upcoming film "Valentines Day." He was unable to film due to scheduling conflicts. He and the other two-thirds of the Jonas Brothers were touring all summer.

A self proclaimed lover of make-up, she told People, "I love drama and I love self expression and extremes, so make-up is a great way to show that." TAY & TAY: "Valentines Day" roles
Taylors Swift and Lautner are both finished filming their parts in the upcoming movie "Valentines Day," though neither of them have huge roles due to their extremely busy schedules. Apparently Taylor Lautner will be jumping hurdles and Taylor Swift likes to dance. How they relate to each other, I'm not sure. I guess we'll have to wait and see when it comes out! Also in the movie, "Princess Diaries" actress Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, and Topher Grace among many more (Joe Jonas is rumored to have a part in it as well). TBL: Cancelled
Only two episodes into The CWs "The Beautiful Life" and it has already been cancelled. TBL, as it was also called, was a show about the lives of New York models starring Mischa Barton and Corbin Bleu, amongst others. The ratings were bad for the Pilot but downright awful for the second episode.

TWILIGHT: Breaking Dawn being broken up?
The screenwriter for the last three Twilight movies (Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse) will also be adapting the fourth and, possibly, final book "Breaking Dawn." All of Twilight's stars -- Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner -- will be starring in The last film as well. However, it has been talked about that "Breaking Dawn" may be split into two films. Likely the film will be split into two if all of the cast agrees to star in it. If they do not, BD will be one film.

What's happening on next weeks episode of Gossip Girl? Well for one, we see that Blair and Chuck are starting to do what most couples do, argue and bicker. Last night, September 22nd, Miley Cyrus rocked the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA for her Wonder World Tour. In attendance was Miranda Cosgrove, HSM star Ashley Tisdale, and Miley's "Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth. According to an inside source, Miley and Liam are officially a couple and have been for about three months now. They attended a private party after the concert and did not hide their affection and feelings for one another.

Maybe one day we'll all see little baby Kenielles running around, but according to Kevin, it won't be any time soon.
